Yes, I know it should probably be "design a month" but work has really been hectic lately. I am trying to get back in the habit of designing something daily if possible. So my wife wanted a Popsicle applique so I started playing around with drawing one and then kept going in Corel Draw X4 and came up with this design. Her applique will be a little more basic.

Work done in Adobe Fireworks. I needed a logo for an internal release and fire ant was chosen. I did draw the ant in Fireworks using a photo for the template.

Mad bunny done in Corel Draw. I am starting some cartoon characters mainly for my wife's embroidery work. He started out as a hippo but looked more bunny like so I went with it.

Created the Urchin base in a freeware apps called Wings3d, the rocky shore and waters in another application and brought those images to manipulate in Photoshop.

This makes a great wallpaper! There was created using a freeware application called Chaoscope (http://www.chaoscope.org/) it allows you to generate really cool mathematical graphics. I used it to create several different "Chaoscopes". I then combined them into Adobe Fireworks, tweaked some colors and masked some items and ended with this result. I have a few more of these that I will be posting. (Yes, I did cheat and have a few designs ready for the days I do not get to create one on that day).
